1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, accessing app.mindlympics.com, or otherwise using Mindlympics, you accept these terms of use and our privacy policy.
If you do not accept these terms, you must not use the service.
2. Description of the service
Mindlympics is an educational platform that offers learning paths (mathematics, logic, AI, and general knowledge) through lessons, games, and challenges, plus progress tracking for parents and, where applicable, for schools.
Mindlympics does not replace school teaching, a formal educational diagnosis, or medical or psychological care.
3. Accounts and roles
Depending on your profile, you may use Mindlympics as:
- Parent: create and manage child profiles linked to your account;
- Student: access learning and play activities;
- Teacher or school administrator: access class tracking tools when your school has a licence.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for activity carried out through your account. Managing parents (“principal”) must ensure that children linked to their account use the service appropriately.
4. Use by children
Mindlympics is mainly intended for children aged 8 to 16. A parent account (or authorized school access) is required to create and manage a child profile.
By creating a child profile, you represent that you have parental authority or the right to act for that child, and that you consent to processing of data needed to operate the service, as described in the privacy policy.
5. Rules of conduct
You agree not to:
- use the service for illegal, deceptive, or harmful purposes;
- attempt unauthorized access to Mindlympics accounts, data, or systems;
- bypass progression, reward, or security mechanisms;
- copy, extract, resell, or redistribute educational content without authorization;
- disrupt the service (attacks, abusive load, unauthorized reverse engineering).
6. Content and intellectual property
Mindlympics content (text, lessons, illustrations, characters, trademarks, interfaces, game systems, software) is protected by applicable intellectual property rights. No licence is granted beyond authorized personal or school use of the service.
Content you voluntarily submit (for example beta feedback or reports) may be used to improve the service, without granting you ownership of resulting product changes.
7. Beta, availability, and changes
During the beta, the service may be modified, temporarily interrupted, or withdrawn without notice. Some features may be incomplete, experimental, or limited in capacity.
Unless otherwise stated, family beta access is free. Mindlympics may later introduce paid plans; if so, pricing terms will be communicated before any billing.
8. School licences
When Mindlympics is deployed through a school, special terms (duration, number of students, teacher roles, school responsibilities) may apply in addition to these terms. In case of conflict, the school licence terms prevail for the matters they cover.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mindlympics is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular educational purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, Mindlympics and its operators are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, lost opportunity, or harm arising from use of or inability to use the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory rights recognized for consumers or parents in Quebec and Canada.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account as described in the privacy policy.
We may suspend or terminate access in case of breach of these terms, security risk, or harmful behaviour toward other users or the service.
11. Governing law
Subject to mandatory applicable provisions, these terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of the judicial district of Montreal, Quebec.
12. Contact
For questions about these terms, contact us through the platform at app.mindlympics.com, or at the support address shown in your account.
